When planning a cake for your special event, it is always advisable to contact me as far in advance as possible to ensure the date is available.
As a general rule, I require a minimum of 4 weeks notice for celebration cakes. On occasion, I am sometimes able to fit in orders given shorter notice depending on my work load.
Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Payment can be made using cheque, cash or via bank transfer.
Details for transfers are available upon request.
All orders require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
The balance is payable on the day of delivery/collection if in cash or the day before delivery/collection if paying via bank transfer.
For wedding cakes, the balance payment will be due two weeks before the date of the wedding.
All cakes and cupcakes can be delivered to your chosen destination.
Delivery is free within the Thanet area.
For destinations outside of this area a delivery charge will apply. Please ask for delivery prices at the time of ordering.
Alternatively, you can collect your cakes in person.
Please note – Broadie Bakes will not accept responsibility for any damage to cakes in transit if self-collection option is taken.
All of our cakes and cupcakes contain dairy products in the form of butter, eggs and other dairy products.
Please note that whilst your chosen cake may not be made with nuts or nut products, it will be prepared in a kitchen where nut products may be used in other cakes and fillings. We therefore cannot guarantee that your cake will be 100% free of any nut traces.
Gluten-free cakes are available to order.
Please note – Broadie Bakes is currently unable to offer vegan-friendly or dairy-free cakes at this time.
